Kyle and I met in the Spring of 2001. He was headed on a mission trip to Scotland and I was off to work at a camp for the summer. I had volunteered to pray for their group and while gone, he and I sent a few letters back and forth to each other. When he arrived back, he called me and asked if I would like to get together to show each other pictures of our summers. We met at the Cappuccino cafe in Lansing and three hours have never gone by so fast.
We started officially dating in August right before I left for college. We have been through a lot together - both of use going to different colleges ment that our entire relationship was long distance. In 2001, when I graduated, I got an offer for a job in Kentucky. Kyle still had two years left of school and I wasn't sure what was going to happen with us.
The weekend before I moved, Kyle planned a trip for us to go to Toronto. While there, we went to the CN Tower to eat at the Rotating Resturant. Afterwards, he took me up the highest part of the tower and told me that he wanted me to feel on top of the world when we asked me a very important question. Then he asked me to marry him. It was the most wonderful moment of my life!
After two years of being apart while I was in Kentucky, Kyle and I got married on June 16, 2007. We were married in my church and had a wonderful day.
We currently live in Buffalo, NY where I work for Univesity at Buffalo as a Complex Director, overseeing 2 apartment complexes. Kyle works from home for a company he worked for in Kentucky. He is a computer programmer and very good at it. Please enjoy our bio and reading about some of our adventures.
